Pandemos Psychology Center – Therapy – Counseling
Fatih Sönmez, born in Istanbul in 1971, completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Istanbul University. He earned his PhD from Universidad Azteca with a dissertation titled “Self-Harm and Dissociation.”
Between 1997 and 2013, he worked as a psychotherapist in various hospitals and clinics. From 2000 to 2011, he practiced at French Lape Hospital, where he conducted individual and group therapies and administered psychoanalytic tests. Between 2011 and 2014, he worked at Memorial Ataşehir/Suadiye Hospital.
His clinical work focuses on relationship problems, eating disorders, addiction, and particularly self-harm behaviors during adolescence. In 2011, he published a book titled “Self-Harm.”
He practices Imago Couples Therapy and holds the title of Family Counselor. He has provided training at various universities in Istanbul, and his academic articles have been published in professional journals. Since 2012, he has been working at Pandemos Psychotherapy Center, which he founded, where he also delivers professional training programs. He is a member of the Turkish Psychological Association and the Rorschach Association.
