She was born in 1976 in Ankara. She graduated from the Psychology Department of Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, in 1998. During her undergraduate studies, she completed her internships at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital and at the neurosis, psychosis, and social psychiatry units of Çapa and Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculties. In 2002, she received her Master's degree in Psychology from the Institute of Social Sciences at Istanbul University. After her graduate studies, she continued her training in clinical psychology.
In 1999, she began working as a psychologist (part-time) at Maltepe Private Göksoy Hospital. In the same year, following the August earthquake, she participated in post-trauma support training initiated under the leadership of the Turkish Psychologists Association and the Behavioral Sciences Institutes, and worked for 6 months in the disaster area as part of the psychological support team for earthquake survivors.
In 2000, she started working as a senior psychologist at the Private French La Paix Hospital. For more than 15 years at La Paix, she continued individual psychotherapies of adult patients in inpatient and outpatient treatment units within the neurosis and psychosis services, administered psychoanalytically oriented tests and the MMPI, and participated in group studies, case presentations, and seminars. She provided training to healthcare personnel working within the hospital. She predominantly worked with patients diagnosed with borderline and narcissistic personality disorders, as well as anxiety disorders.
She received training in psychoanalytically oriented Rorschach and TAT tests from Prof. Dr. Tevfika Tunaboylu İkiz, participated in integrative work, and continued supervision. She gave presentations within the scope of activities of the Rorschach and Projective Tests Association and at Istanbul University Psychology Congresses.
Since 2002, she has attended numerous conferences, case presentations, and seminar studies of many psychotherapists and psychoanalysts. She continued her individual analysis.
Since May 2015, she has been continuing her work at Pandemos Individual Counseling Center, which she co-founded.
